The current draft map of Westwood Village assets produced after last Friday's most entertaining asset mapping pub crawl! A brilliant combination of business and pleasure, I must say.
We found a lot of great spots - businesses, historic structures and vintage murals, bike racks and nice benches to hang out. We also noted many vacancies in the blocks we explored - but rather than ignoring them, we prefer to think of them as crucial opportunities for building on the existing assets of Westwood Village.
And, many thanks to everyone who came out - especially you incoming students and non-planners who so gamely pitched in!
